About

I’m Amanda Grow, author of The Parents’ University.  The Parents’ University is a division of College Fast Lane, the company I founded in 2008.  I teach college preparation workshops to parents and write the Parents University blog because  I strongly believe that empowering the parents of the college bound will open new possibilities to our next generation of college students.

Most people talk about college as a four-year experience.  In the four years following my high school graduation, I earned my Bachelors degree from Brigham Young University, worked as an intern for the US House of Representatives in Washington DC, lived in the Siberian region of Russia for eighteen months as a humanitarian missionary, and received my Masters degree from the University of Utah.

I am married to Brian Grow, a graduate of Weber State University.
